Ella’s Kitchen Wakey Wakey Breakfast Range

Despite being born prematurely and having trouble initially with his sucking reflex and bottle feeding, we’ve been incredibly lucky with Riley when it comes to weaning and he certainly has a hungry and healthy appetite for food. Riley is always happy to try new foods and new textures but we have always struggled when it comes to breakfast so when Ella’s Kitchen gave us the opportunity to review their new Wakey Wakey Breakfast Range, we jumped at the chance.
They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day and this 100% organic breakfast range from Ella’s Kitchen is the perfect fun and healthy way for tiny tummies to start the day as its made from simple, natural ingredients with no nasty additives or preservatives. To make life easier for busy mummies and daddies, the Wakey Wakey range comes in easy to pour, resealable pouches, filling babies bowl with tasty textures and flavours- all you need to do is just add their usual milk!
We were sent three products for Riley to try:
– Stage 1 Wakey Wakey Mango and Apple Baby Porridge
– Stage 2 Wakey Wakey Strawberry, Mango and Banana Porridge
– Stage 3 Wakey Wakey Round Ones
Ella's Kitchen Wakey Wakey Breakfast Range
The range is designed to support your little ones throughout the weaning process, so whereas the Stage 1 porridge is super smooth and ideal for babies first tastes the Stage 2 porridge is textured (but not lumpy) with  added fruit to encourage your little one to use those pearly whites and chew! Both of these went down a treat with Riley and the consistencies are definitely better than your usual baby rice porridge.

Stage 3 sees them move on to Wakey Wakey Round Ones, a multigrain cereal that melts in the mouth and again encourage them to chew their food. It’s perfect for breakfast with milk or yoghurt and we’ve even added in chopped fruit like strawberries and bananas for some extra texture and flavour. Riley also has some as a snack on the go as they’re the ideal size for little pincers and are a great finger food.

Overall we have been very impressed with the Ella’s Kitchen Wakey Wakey Breakfast Range and because each portion is mixed with your baby’s usual milk, the pouches go a long way and are great value for money. Whats more you can be safe in the knowledge that they’re only made with 100% natural and organic ingredients so are packed full of yummy goodness to give your little one the best start to the day. The range is definitely a firm favourite in our house and i would highly recommend the products to all parents who are starting or are already in the weaning process.

Ella’s Kitchen products can be found in all major supermarkets including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Waitrose and the Co-Op, as well as Boots, Superdrug, Mothercare and Toys “R” Us.
