As most of my readers will know i recently had a baby, well i say recently, it was actually 10 weeks ago (eeek!) but as Harry was delivered by emergency cesarean i was advised not to exercise for the first 12 weeks post-birth, which is fine but means that my weight has been fluctuating. I’m desperate to shed the extra pounds, tone up those wobbly bits, reclaim my body and most importantly wear some clothes that actually accentuate my figure rather than hiding it.
I have a wardrobe full of Summer maternity clothes which are now either too big or not appropriate for the current weather, so with Autumn on the horizon and Winter fast approaching i am in need of a complete wardrobe overhaul. Not ideal as i hate shopping at the best of times. Dragging two littlies and a double pushchair around the high street is not my idea of fun, nor do i find it relaxing or therapeutic.
However, i do shop online, quite a bit actually, but if i’m being totally honest the majority of items i’ve purchased over the past few months are hanging in the wardrobe, unworn and with the tags still attached. Please tell me i’m not the only one to do this?
In an attempt to declutter the wardrobe and make myself some extra money, i have decided to sell the old clothes online through musicMagpie. Their service is quick and easy to use and best of all they have a fully insured courier service that comes and collects the items from me for FREE. I can then choose to be paid by bank transfer, cheque or e-voucher and use the extra money to shop for clothes. Clothes that i will actually wear.
Plus clearing the old stuff to pay for some new stuff is always going to be a bonus – Out with the old and in with the new as they say!
