I LOVE SPRING and i think it’s now safe to say that it has officially arrived, complete with blue skies, hazy sunshine and fresh blooms.
I can’t tell you how deliriously happy it makes me to see longer days, trees dusted in beautiful blossom, flowers poking up through the ground, a carpet of bluebells in the woods and the sound of my boys’ laughter as they play together out in the garden. It could just be me, but there’s something about the warmth of the sun on your skin that makes you feel instantly radiant and alive. Amazing what a bit of sunshine can do for your morale isn’t it?
The weather was glorious here last weekend and it was really lovely to spend some quality time together as a family. Mr B works away in the week and we don’t get to see that much of him so when he is home, we always try to make the most of the time we have together. We are so incredibly lucky to live in a beautiful home surrounded by woodland and a large, secluded garden that provides the perfect setting for the boys’ to explore and have fun in.
So on Sunday, that’s exactly what we did ..
Harry had his first go in the swing.
There were smiles all round on the slide.
Riley played football and bounced on the trampoline with Uncle Martin.
The garden and its new blooms were explored.
We even got daddy to pose for the camera.
A simple, sunny, Spring afternoon.
