Review // Joules Clothing

JoulesClothing.jpg

I absolutely adore Joules, they are a VERY British brand and have a passion for reinventing and funking up the country look. When they got in touch recently to see if the boys would be interested in reviewing some items from their clothing range i didn’t hesitate  in saying yes. We live in the countryside next door to an arable and cattle farm, the same farm that i grew up on, so their range couldn’t be more perfect or suitable for our needs.

Joules began selling country apparel more than 30 years ago and today, the brand is still as crazy about colour, dotty about detail and passionate about prints as they were back then. Country folk are colourful people and the range is inspired by them and the countryside they live in. It really is beautiful and there is so much on offer from clothing and home furnishings to garden products and gifts.

It was really hard choosing something to review as there were so many gorgeous bits to choose from, but with lots of birthday parties and summer events coming up, i eventually settled on a Baby Tristan Shirt for them both. Yes they will probably hate me for it when they’re older but there’s something super adorable about siblings in matching outfits so i couldn’t resist.

Joules Kids Shirt

This stylish little shirt has a gingham design and a cute little bunny motif embroidered on the front pocket.

The turn up sleeves give this shirt a casual country look but for those smarter occasions the sleeves can be extended for full arm coverage. You could even add a tie or bow-tie for added cuteness.

The shirt is made from 100% cotton and is machine washable. As a mum, i’m always dubious of labels that say garments are machine washable as i find they tend to shrink or lose colour. Surprisingly, despite numerous washes the shirts have retained their original size, shape and colour. In fact i’d go as far as to say that they still look practically new so i’m super impressed.

Main Features:

  • Blue Gingham Design
  • Turn Up Sleeves
  • 100% Cotton
  • Machine Washable
  • Button Fastening
  • Available in sizes 0-3years/0-36months

The shirt has an RRP of £22.95 for 0-12month sizes and £24.95 for 12-36month sizes. The quality feel makes it well worth the price tag in my opinion.

Available for purchase in stores nationwide or online at www.joules.com

Disclosure: We were sent two shirts from the Joules Clothing Range for the purpose of this review but all thoughts are 100% honest and entirely my own.

I have only just discovered Joules and I love it. I bought Seb two pairs of dungarees for the summer, but my one grumble is they don’t do co-ordinating t-shirts to go with them
