Hello Friday and my fellow #LittleLoves Bloggers! This week seems to have passed in a flash, which is strange because we’ve done very little except for the preschool runs.
Anyway, here are the #LittleLoves that have made up our week:
I read a lovely post over on Capture By Lucy about her Springtime Surprise Project. If you like the idea of doing something nice for a total stranger (sending them a surprise gift) just because, then you will want to sign up to this, such a wonderful idea Lucy! I also couldn’t wait to read this post from the lovely Katie at MummyDaddyMe on her recent holiday to Turks and Caicos. She has such a beautiful little family and her photography is stunning! Finally this post from Hurrah For Gin on being The Queen Of Empty Threats had be laughing out loud and nodding in total agreement all at the same time.
That one of my besties, Kerry at Oh So Amelia had finally given birth to her beautiful baby boy, Harrison Jack Wilson! HUGE congratulations to her, Andy and Amelia. Nothing like the news of a birth or some newborn photos to give you that warm fuzzy feeling inside.
Silent Witness. I’m a sucker for crime dramas: CSI, Criminal Minds, Law & Order, Stalker. When i was younger i always wanted to work in forensics and crime scene investigation; i’m not sure if this was something that stemmed from watching these types of programmes or if i started watching them because it was my ambition but needless to say i’m still hooked on them all to this day.
I also watched the latest episode of Scandal, i am totally loving this 4th series but impatiently waiting for something to happen between Fitz and Olivia. Forbidden love and all that.
Junk Models. We were asked by preschool to send the kids in on Wednesday with a selection of junk modelling materials; empty cereal boxes, plastic bottles, egg cartons…that sort of thing and when i picked Riley up he came out with these 2 masterpieces. I’m told that one is a factory and the other a hospital, perhaps i have an architect or builder in the making eh?
Fox socks! They were a Christmas present from my sister and are seriously the comfiest and warmest pair of socks i’ve ever worn. Perfect for the wet, cold and wintery weather we’ve been having too! There’s nothing nicer at this time of year than snuggling up in front of the fire with some fluffy socks on and a mug of hot chocolate.
The boys and i are suffering from horrid colds so it’s been a week of sniffles, chesty coughs, calpol and cuddles. Mummy also has a chest and throat infection too 🙁 As much as i hate to see my two favourite little people suffering, i have been enjoying all those extra mummy cuddles and there really is no better feeling than the one of knowing that you are the one they want to comfort and soothe them.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend xxx
