Festive Favourites On Netflix // #StreamTeam

The boys have broken up from school and Christmas is now only one week away…ONE…so we are most definitely going to be binge watching some of our festive favourites on Netflix this week.

To get the boys in the spirit of Christmas Netflix very kindly sent them some arty crafty presents and we had a wonderful time painting some wooden baubles to hang on the tree.

N.B. Excuse the spots, the boys both had chicken pox!

Anyway back to Netflix – from golden oldies to more modern, but beloved, family films, Netflix have so much on offer to get you in the spirit of Christmas this year. And the streaming service is jam packed with Christmas specials from some of the most popular series and sitcoms as well.

Here are just some of our festive favourites on Netflix:

Arthur Christmas

It’s actually a military-style operation managed from a high-tech control centre. That is, until there’s a glitch in the system.

DreamWorks Holiday Classics Collection

There is over 90minutes of festive fun in this compilation of five Christmas-themed short films featuring some of the most popular DreamWorks characters. Get ready for Shrek the Halls, The Madagascar Penguins in a Christmas Caper, Merry Madagascar, Donkey’s Christmas Shrektacular and Dragons: Gift of the Night Fury.

Happy Holidays From Madagascar

With Christmas in the air, Private the penguin gets stuck in a stocking and needs help from his pals to get out. Deck the halls with mayhem as all the Madagascar creatures get in on the act.

    we always watch Home Alone at Christmas time and I do like Love Actually and The Holiday. My ultimate favourite has to be the Muppet Christmas Carol, though – classic! x
