REVIEW // InfaCare Night-time Baby Bath

We have been using Ultra mild InfaCare at bath time since the boys were babies and it’s a firm favourite here, so when the lovely people at InfaCare got in touch to see if we would like to try their new Night-time Baby Bath, I jumped at the chance.

Harry, in particular, has very sensitive skin and is prone to outbreaks of eczema, so one of the things I love about InfaCare is their use of clinically tested formulas that are PH balanced and designed to prevent irritation. They are gentle on the skin and help care for it in the process. Harry’s often feels dry to touch and irritates easily, but I’ve noticed that a bath with InfaCare Night-time Baby Bath reduces dryness and leaves his skin feeling nourished and soft.

I’ve been using InfaCare Night-time Baby Bath as part of the boys’ bedtime routine for a few weeks now, and while I won’t proclaim that this is some miracle product that sends them straight off to sleep every time, I do believe in its relaxing properties. It could be coincidental but it certainly seems to have a calming effect on them both.

The Night-time Baby bath smells utterly divine. It has a gentle sort of powdery and oriental fragrance, which is delightful but not what I was expecting, to be honest. Not that I’m disappointed or anything, quite the opposite actually. I’d just assumed because of its lilac bottle and natural association with sleep that it would smell of lavender but there’s not a hint of it anywhere.

Another positive for me is the product’s performance. You only need to add one small squeeze under clean running water for it to produce masses of long-lasting bubbles, perfect for some bath time fun. I also use these bubbles to cleanse their skin and wash their hair because it does the job just as well and leaves them smelling gorgeous.

InfaCare Night-time Baby Bath is available at Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, ASDA and Sainsbury’s, costing £3.49 for 750ml. This may seem a little on the pricey side but it lasts much longer than other leading brands and is much gentler on the skin too.

InfaCare Night-time Baby Bath is definitely a product worth using as part of your baby/child’s bedtime routine and it gets a big thumbs up from us!
