For the last couple of months we’ve, or should I say my niece, has been putting the LittleLife SchoolPak through its paces.
LittleLife firmly believe in creating functional products that enable families the freedom to explore, learn, laugh and live all the wonders of the great outdoors. With more than 25 years’ experience in the outdoor industry and over 30 children between them, they’ve developed a product range with first-hand experience of what really works for young families.
From back packs and safety rains to lightweight carriers and travel cots, LittleLife products are renowned for being of the highest quality with hard wearing materials and clever little features. The new LittleLife SchoolPak is no different.
The LittleLife SchoolPak comes in two designs – a pink owl and a green crocodile – both of which are equally adorable, although there was something about the owl design that just appealed to me more.
It’s a really spacious bag with easy access to a large main compartment and plenty of room for books, lunchbox and pencil case. It also has a zipped fastening to ensure the contents of the bag are kept safely and securely inside.
There is also a separate front pocket. It has a side opening, so there is limited access but this doesn’t affect the functionality of the pocket at all (in my opinion) as there is a stretchy, expandable mesh side panel which offers maximum storage. It is the ideal size for a small coin purse, hair ties…that sort of thing.
The LittleLife SchoolPak features adjustable padded shoulder straps which my niece says makes the bag really comfortable to wear on her back, and a top grab handle which makes the bag easy to hang on her school peg. I’ve tried the bag out for myself and the straps feel really thick and durable, with more than enough padding, so i’m confident they go a long way in helping to provide maximum comfort for children, especially when they’re carrying lots of heavy books and stuff.
There are stretchy side pockets for drinks/snacks, although I must confess that Tia’s school water bottle doesn’t actually fit in them, which is a little disappointing but not a major issue. It’s non-spill and doesn’t leak so she just keeps it in the main compartment with her lunchbox instead.
The bag does have a chest strap which can be used to prevent it from slipping off, which is a brilliant and practical design feature, particularly for smaller/younger children.

The LittleLife SchoolPak is a lovely backpack which is the perfect size for my niece. It’s very stylish, bold in colour and the owl design is simply adorable. The bag itself feels durable and of a really high quality so I feel like Tia’s going to get a lot of use out of it before it starts to show any signs of wear and tear.
As I said earlier in the post, Tia finds it comfortable to wear and has plenty of room inside the main compartment to store her school books, lunch, pencil case and drink. There is space for additional items as well.
I also love the fact the bag comes with an internal name and address label – we all know how easy it is for children to lose items at school.
At £19.99, I think the LittleLife SchoolPak is very reasonable in price and is a product I will definitely be recommending to family and friends.
