PJ Masks Halloween Party

On Tuesday morning, we travelled to Picturehouse Central in Piccadilly for a PJ Masks Halloween Party, hosted by eOne and License to PR.

PJ Masks Halloween Party

When we arrived at the venue, we were directed upstairs to a large room that had been decked out in shades of red, blue & green and filled with PJ Masks décor, partyware and themed activities. Tia and the boys headed straight over to the face painting corner where children were given the opportunity to have their faces adorned with the character masks of Catboy, Gekko and Owlette or they could opt for paw/claw prints. Naturally, I took the opportunity to have some glittery red Owlette claw prints painted on my own face (who says children get to have all the fun?!).

There was also an arts and crafts table where children could decorate their own masks, colouring activities, a balloon modeller and a play corner with lots of toys from the new PJ Masks range. Many of the toys are on the boys’ Christmas list so it was great for me to see which ones they were actually interested in playing with so I could feed that information back to Santa – wink wink!

Children were then treated to a special PJ Masks diddi dance session which was so much fun. It was lovely to see them all up dancing, laughing, giggling and enjoying themselves.

In partnership with PJ Masks, diddi dance is holding a Super Dance Party in all their classes nationwide from Monday 30th October to Sunday 5th November to raise fund for the Youth Sport Trust. The children’s charity is dedicated to transforming the lives of children and young people through the power of sport and physical activity. For more information about how you can take part, please head over to https://www.diddidance.com/oj-masks-super-dance-party .

Immediately after the diddi dance session, we were joined by the “real” PJ Masks – Catboy, Gekko and Owlette. The room quickly erupted into squeals of delight and excitement, with some children seemingly in a complete state of shock to see their favourite TV heroes standing there. Harry absolutely loves Catboy and wouldn’t take his eyes off him. Riley is obsessed with Gekko and couldn’t wait to show him his “super Gekko muscles”. They were all invited for photo opportunities with the characters as well, which was amazing.

Following a spot of lunch, we were taken off for a special screening of an unseen PJ Masks episode – Take to the Skies, Owlette! and also given a sneak peak of season 2 which launches in Spring 2018! There are some super cool new characters joining the show!

After the screening, all of the children were gifted with a special goody bag filled with amazing products including toys from Flair, blankets from Dreamtex, puzzles from Ravensburger, annuals from Hachette, drink bottles from Zac, magazines from Immediate Media, balloons from Amscan and new DVD, Time to be a Hero.
